We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to guide our engineering team in developing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive hands-on experience in software development, and prior experience in a leadership role. A deep understanding of the Quantexa platform with at least 5 years of experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and ensure their implementation meets high standards.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance and user experience.
Work closely with Financial Services clients and large corporate clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Contribute to risk model creation and other analytical processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and teamwork.
Assist in the development and implementation of Agile methodologies within the team.
Requirements:
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software development;
Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring engineering teams;
Deep understanding of the Quantexa platform with at least 5 years of experience;
Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development technologies;
Extensive experience with Angular and Flask;
Prior experience working with Financial Services clients and large corporate clients;
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience with Agile development methodologies;
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation;
Familiarity with cloud environments and big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark;
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Strong understanding of Java Spring Boot;
Hands on experience working with Docker & Kubernetes.
