How you will make a difference:
- Assisting in maintaining the organization's infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs and implement solutions that meet business requirements and adhering to industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure components, providing timely and effective resolution.
- Actively monitor and control costs to minimize wastage and optimize resource allocation.
- Foster a close working relationship with peers from Security, Platform, and BAU Support Services teams to deliver a cohesive and reliable IT service to the organization.
- Produce technical documentation to support efficient understanding and implementation of infrastructure.
What will give you an advantage:
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience in managing cloud-hosted multi-region infrastructure, specifically in AWS, with a focus on modules such as:
EC2: Provisioning and maintaining instances VPC: Subnets, Route Tables, Elastic IPs, VPC Peering, Security Groups FSX: Provisioning and maintaining FSx for Windows Route 53: Making record changes to hosted zones IAM: Users, Roles, Policies
- Microsoft 365 experience such as;
Azure AD (Entra): SSO/SAML, Conditional Access, PIM, Dynamic Groups, Roles Intune: Configuration Profiles, Scripts, Autopilot Exchange Online: Policies & Rules, Connectors
- Strong proficiency in administering and maintaining Windows Server 2016 and above with various roles installed.
- Taking ownership and completion of technical projects.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, through to resolution.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Service Delivery capacity.
Please note that consideration will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience who can demonstrate the required technical skillset.
Advantageous
- Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
- Experience of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware ESXi/vSphere.
- Familiarity with SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Experience in managing firewalls (Cisco & Fortinet)
- Understanding of IT networking principles and experience with configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
