HR & RECRUITMENT PARTNER – XOBRIQ TECHNOLOGIES

Xobriq Technologies is a USD 10 million technology startup operating in IT solutions, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation. The company is a newly established arm of an existing IT firm and is being built to serve enterprise and institutional clients across global markets.

All staff engaged under this recruitment exercise will be required to work physically from this location.

Engagement Objective

Xobriq Technologies seeks to contract a professional recruitment and HR firm to support a rapid talent build-out and the establishment of a compliant, scalable HR function.

The engagement will focus on:

• Recruiting and onboarding high-quality technical and leadership talent
• Supporting cross-border hiring and relocation
• Establishing HR systems, processes, and compliance structures appropriate for a growth-stage technology company

Hiring Scope

The firm intends to hire approximately 30 highly skilled professionals within 30–60 days.

The target composition is:

• At least 15 foreign experts, preferably Indians, across:
• Software Engineering
• Data Science
• Machine Learning
• Artificial Intelligence
• Advanced Analytics and Automation
• At least 15 local professionals in similar and complementary roles, including technical, delivery, and operational positions.

The majority of hires will have 3–10 years of professional experience, with demonstrated ability to operate in demanding, production-level environments.

Indicative roles include (but are not limited to):

• Software Engineers and Senior Developers
• Machine Learning Engineers
• Data Scientists and Data Analysts
• AI Engineers and Applied Research Specialists
• Technical Leads and Architects
• Project / Delivery Managers
• Systems and Automation Engineers

Scope of Services Required

The selected recruitment partner will be expected to:

• Design and execute a structured recruitment strategy aligned with Xobriq’s growth objectives
• Source, screen, and present high-calibre local and international candidates
• Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles under aggressive timelines
• Support immigration, relocation, and onboarding of foreign hires into Kenya
• Draft or support compliant employment documentation
• Establish foundational HR processes, policies, and compliance frameworks
• Advise on workforce structuring and best practices for a globally oriented technology firm

The firm should be capable of operating as a strategic partner, not merely a CV-sourcing agency.

Expected Outcomes

• Timely placement of approximately 30 qualified hires
• A functioning, compliant HR framework aligned with Kenyan law and international best practice
• Smooth onboarding of both local and foreign staff into on-site roles in Nairobi
• Clear documentation and processes that can scale as the company grows

• Proven experience recruiting senior and mid-level technical talent

• Strong understanding of Kenyan employment and compliance requirements
