Data Analyst Intern

Virtue Vets is an LBS startup founded by an MBA 2010. We are looking for a smart, motivated and ambitious intern who wants to work at a fast paced startup and experience rapid professional development. This role is better suited for MiMs, but we would be happy to accept MBA and MiF applicants too.

We are the UK's premier next-gen vet care and pet wellness clinic chain, providing exceptional vet care and a premium bespoke experience at reasonable prices. Our stylish clinics feature a contemporary aesthetic that appeals to both pets and their humans. We are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic, surgical, and lab equipment to ensure the highest standard of care. We are transforming vet-care. While this is not a traditional 2nd year MBA project, aspects of it are the real world experience that makes its way into B-school case studies.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to help upgrade and analyze data about the company's clients and patients in order to drive strategic and operational insights. This involves helping setup and reconfigure our practice management system.

Skills Required:

• Strong consulting style skills (problem > hypothesis > analysis > insights > solution)
• Ability to organize data, analyze it and present insights in meaningful ways
• Strong Excel skills (consulting / banking level) - Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX
• Strong Powerpoint Deck-work and Graphical Presentation skills
• Comfortable with learning new tech applications
• Able to update basic tech applications with new data fields, forms and tempaltes
• Attention to detail and neat working style
• Python skills are a plus

Role: The internship can be Part-time (20 hrs/week) or Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Compensation: £20/hour (initially)

Location: London (hybrid)

Progression: The role can covert to a full-time role withing the strategy and operations team

Visa: Graduate Visa Scheme or Authorised to Work in UK without employer sponsorship. We may consider converting Graduate Visa Scheme to Skilled Worker Sponsorship if the role becomes full-time
