As a Senior DISE, you will define, architect, deploy, and sustain mission-critical digital systems that empower the SAF. You will play a key role across the full system lifecycle, designing, building, and operating secure hybrid cloud environments, data centres, integrated sensor systems, and advanced communications networks for the SAF.

You will be part of a dynamic engineering force transforming our digital ecosystem by integrating cloud-native technologies, data centre infrastructure, network operations, sensor platforms and next-generation communications and networks that enable our forces to be digitally connected and mission-capable at all times.

What you would do

As a Senior DISE, you:

• Lead the Engineering Vision: Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, define standards, and unlock emerging technologies from advance AI infrastructure to quantum-safe communications, ensuring the SAF remains at the forefront of digital capability.
• Design and Deploy Mission-Ready Cloud Capabilities: Design, build and operate secure, high-availability systems across edge and enterprise cloud environments in leading-edge data centre facilities. Engineer architectures capable of supporting ultra-low latency, high bandwidth, and AI-driven data processing essential to modern defence networks.
• Architect and Operate Next-Gen Network & Communications: Architect and optimise networking and communications technologies such as cellular systems, satellite communications, and software-defined networking, for seamless connectivity between warfighting platforms and systems in operational environments.
• Sustain and Operate Advanced Sensor Systems: Operate and Sustain cutting-edge sensor systems to give SAF the cutting edge across our full spectrum of operations.
• Bridge Operations and Innovation: Collaborate with users, R&D partners, and industry leaders to prototype and implement new solutions in the digital domain.
