Nigerian UX Designer for Africa's Super-App

We’re building Africa’s super-app, starting with food delivery. Fresh off a highly successful funding round backed by top Silicon Valley investors, we’re hiring a Nigerian UX Designer to help overhaul our product as we expand into new African markets. This fully remote role provides you with exposure to a fast-moving Silicon Valley startup while allowing you to work WAT hours from anywhere in Nigeria.

What you’ll do

• Work with our Head of Design to develop fundamental UX components as we prepare our product for new markets
• Design elegant, user-friendly screens for our website, iOS, and Android apps using Figma
• Collaborate directly with our international development team to shape product decisions
• Take ownership of UX workflows end-to-end, from concept to high-fidelity designs
• Apply the local perspective to deliver an unbeatable user experience in the African context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Figma, with 2+ years in B2C
• Strong design portfolio (required, send to [email protected]). Applicants who don’t share a portfolio will not be considered
• Prior experience in related fields. By priority: food delivery, e-commerce, ride-hailing, B2C fintech, logistics
• Bonus: Prior startup or high-growth company experience

The role

• Compensation: $1,000-$1,500+ USD/month, negotiable for top talent
• ≈ ₦1.45-₦2.17m+/month
• Full-time (40+ hrs/week)
• Performance bonus
• Potential for sign-on bonus

• Location: Fully remote, based anywhere in Nigeria; Lagos preferred (WAT working hours)
