Responsibilities:
- Participating in the Open-Source products evaluation, analysis, contribution, and configuration according to the Sabre requirements
- Being part of the daily Java development activities – designing, implementing, and delivering applications for our customers.
- Working with microservices, Cloud solutions, front-end and back-end depending on the project.
- Utilizing Agile to deliver high-quality, reactive solutions, with a keen eye for scalability and reliability
- Applying fundamental skills, concepts, and practices to solve difficult assignments
- Participating in code reviews.
- Staying up to date with the latest advancements in Java technologies and best practices.
- Working in an international team and communicating in English on daily basis.
Job requirements:
· 1+ years of experience with mentioned tools and technologies
· Experience with cloud compute technologies, preferably GCP
· Experience with Java and Spring Boot applications
· Experience in Continuous Integration (Maven), Continuous Delivery (e.g. Jenkins Pipelines)
· Experience with Linux ecosystem (e.g. Bash scripts)
· Familiarity with Cloud Native Applications design patterns and best practices
· Positive attitude, attention to detail, a team player, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong work ethic
MUST POSSESS a legal work permit in Poland
Nice-to-have:
· Experience with IaaS / SaaS platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
· Experience in exposing and consuming REST and SOAP services
· Contribution to open-source projects
