Senior WordPress Developer (Remote)

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a WordPress Developer. In this fully remote role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing WordPress websites that align with clients' goals. You'll work collaboratively with designers, marketers, and other developers to create dynamic, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites.
• Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness.
• Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and meet accessibility standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of website optimization for performance and SEO.
• Familiarity with website security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
