Java Spring Developer (Remote) - DoD Secret Clearance Required

We are seeking experienced Java Spring Developers to join a high-visibility engineering effort focused on Spring upgrade and modernization activities. This position is fully remote and requires an active DoD Secret clearance. Developers will support enhancements, refactoring, and upgrade work across both legacy and modern Java components within a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Spring upgrade initiatives across legacy and modern components within the PRISM environment.
• Develop, enhance, refactor, and troubleshoot Java applications using the Spring Framework.
• Work extensively with Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA, and Spring Security.
• Support legacy components including JSP, scriptlets, and native JavaScript.
• Write, tune, and optimize complex SQL queries against MSSQL databases.
• Work with JavaScript, jQuery, and other scripting languages as needed.
• Assist with deployments and configurations across application and web servers.
• Follow SDLC best practices and maintain clean, well-structured documentation.
• Collaborate in an Agile/DevOps environment alongside technical and functional stakeholders.
• Use Git or other version control systems for source control and code collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required).
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with:
• Spring MVC
• Spring Data & JPA
• Spring Security
• Experience supporting legacy Java (JSP, scriptlets, native JavaScript).
• Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and other scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with MSSQL databases.
• Proven ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Experience working with application/web servers.
• Proficiency in Git or other version control systems.
• Experience working within Agile/DevOps processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
