Marketing Coach (Co-Founder Role)

Are you a visionary marketing leader who loves teaching, building programs, and empowering the next generation of creative marketers?

Swapop — an AI-powered marketplace for Gen Z to swap, buy, and trade items — is seeking a Marketing Program Director to build and lead our national internship and campus campaign program.

In this role, you’ll design the curriculum, coach student teams, and lead hands-on growth campaigns that bring Swapop to life across universities. You’ll also collaborate with marketing experts, invite guest speakers, and help turn our internship into a model for startup-driven learning.

This is an equity-based co-founder opportunity with the potential to transition into a paid senior role after funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Swapop Internship Marketing Program, teaching startup growth, campaign design, and digital marketing strategies.

• Coach and mentor student teams in planning and executing campus marketing campaigns.

• Use your network of marketing professionals to invite guest speakers and enhance the learning experience.

• Collaborate with the University Partnerships Leader to expand the program across multiple universities.

• Monitor campaign performance and guide students to optimize engagement and app growth.

• Lead workshops on topics like growth hacking, branding, and creative strategy.

• Contribute to Swapop’s marketing direction, go-to-market strategy, and long-term brand vision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, growth strategy, or marketing education.

• Proven record of building and leading campaigns or programs that drive measurable results.

• Strong mentorship and leadership skills, passionate about teaching and inspiring students.

• A well-connected professional who can bring guest speakers or collaborators.

• Entrepreneurial and creative mindset — comfortable working in a startup environment.

• Able to commit 10–15 hours per week to strategy, mentoring, and program leadership.
