📌 Base salary range from $100,000 to $165,000 USD + benefits + equity
Our Founders:
Our Founders started their previous company after meeting in Computer Science class. With just $2,000 in savings, the two bootstrapped the company to $25 million in ARR - and profitably - in just 5 years. They then raised $325 million of venture funding, rapidly scaling the business to 200+ people and >$100 million in ARR. After that first 8-year journey and experiencing the pains of an ‘upgraded’ accounting system first-hand, they have decided what to throw themselves at for the next 8 years: to build DualEntry, the accounting software they needed.
About DualEntry:
We’re a well-funded, pre-launch company modernizing accounting for mid-market companies:
- We believe AI will disrupt accounting over the next 10 years. 77%+ of today's accounting workflows are already fully automatable (McKinsey & Co).
- The opportunity is now. There’s an extreme shortage of accounting talent; existing accounting softwares are ill-positioned for AI and have some of the lowest NPS ratios in all of FinTech (i.e: they're still stuck in the 1990's!).
- The opportunity is massive. SAP is 7th largest tech company in the world, Netsuite has revenues of more than $3bn - every fast-growing company eventually outgrows Quickbooks and needs to upgrade to a mid-market accounting software.

What You Bring:
- 6+ yrs of total backend software development experience incl. testing
- Experience building seamless, robust third-party integrations with diverse products (HR, Expense Management, Accounting, CRM, etc.)
- Experience managing software development complexity long-term in a business-logic heavy project
- Experience launching products from start to finish (incl. building CI/CD)
- Experience with building and testing APIs
- Experience with database management systems, SQL, ORMs, and data migrations
- Experience deploying AWS services
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Willingness to work hard and ship product at high velocity, especially on Fridays
- Languages: agnostic
