About the Role:

Location: Georgetown, KY (Onsite | Long-Term Contract)

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Design automation equipment and machine components
• Develop control systems, PLC programs, and embedded software
• Deploy and troubleshoot industrial robots and machine vision systems
• Implement AI/ML-driven manufacturing solutions
• Lead projects: scopes of work, schedules, budgets, vendor management
• Test and validate new manufacturing technologies
• Ensure compliance with client engineering and safety standards
• Create proposals, communicate with stakeholders, and present progress updates
• Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎓 What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Robotics, Controls, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or similar
• Hands-on robotics/automation experience in manufacturing
• CAD/CAM proficiency and strong technical problem-solving
• Experience deploying machine vision systems
• Evidence of AI/ML solutions in production environments
• Project management experience with vendors and cross-functional teams
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and install equipment
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Willingness to travel (~25%) and work overtime (~20%)

🌟 Nice to Have

• Master’s or PhD in Robotics or Mechatronics
• Automotive plant experience
• PM certification
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards (SAE/ISO, NFPA/NEC, UL)
• Risk assessment (JSA/JHA) experience
• Experience integrating:
• FANUC, ABB, Universal Robots, Kawasaki, Mitsubishi, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Toyopuc, Keyence, Cognex, CODESYS, Ignition, MATLAB, Visual Studio, etc.
