Position Summary: Recruiting Manager:

  • Oversees the recruitment function with responsibility for developing and executing a comprehensive, data‑driven hiring strategy across domestic and international locations.
  • Lead the recruiting team, partners closely with business and HR leadership to meet workforce plans, and ensure a consistent, compliant, and high‑quality candidate experience.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert for recruiting systems and processes, maintains governance over key policies and metrics, and drives continuous improvement in effectiveness, efficiency, and fairness.



Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience: Recruiting Manager:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Seven or more years of progressive recruiting experience, including at least three years leading or mentoring recruiters.
  • Experience recruiting in both U.S. and international markets; manufacturing, industrial, or engineering sector experience strongly preferred.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Recruiting Manager:

  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making capability with a track record of improving recruiting outcomes through data.
  • Proficiency with ATS/HRIS systems (Kronos-based application strongly preferred), recruiting analytics, Microsoft Office, and major job boards and social recruiting platforms.
  • Expertise in structured interviewing, selection methods, and hiring best practices; commitment to confidentiality and data protection. Certifications (Preferred)
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM‑SCP, SHRM‑CP, PHR, SPHR, or AIRS; LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency.



Working Conditions: Recruiting Manager:

  • This is a primarily office‑based role with occasional time in warehouse or off-site settings for events. Limited travel (approximately 10%) may be required.
  • The position may involve periodic lifting of up to 40 pounds in the normal course of duties



Core Responsibilities: Recruiting Manager:

  • Lead and develop the recruiting team; establish goals, conduct regular pipeline reviews, and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting plans with headcount and growth objectives.
  • Own the end‑to‑end recruiting process, including intake, structured interviewing, calibrated scorecards, candidate experience, and timely communications.
  • Direct sourcing efforts for difficult‑to‑fill roles through job boards, networks, referrals, events, and targeted outreach; manage campus, job‑fair, and early‑career programs.
  • Administer the Kronos-based applicant tracking system and related recruiting tools; maintain Recruiting Gateway and HR Employee Database.
  • Standardize and optimize processes, templates, and service levels; implement dashboards and reporting for time‑to‑fill, pass‑through rates, quality of hire, offer acceptance, and cost metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international hiring regulations; oversee background checks (including adverse action), I‑9/E‑Verify, data privacy, records retention, and EEO practices.
  • Manage employer branding and external presence, including job postings and social channels; design and manage employee referral, internship, and mentorship programs.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage recruiting vendors and tools; own the recruiting budget and quarterly capacity planning.
  • Coordinate pre‑boarding and onboarding handoffs with HRIS/Payroll and Operations; champion internal mobility and talent reviews with HR Business Partners.
  • Support international hiring, immigration/visa, and relocation workflows in partnership with relevant vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish and enforce recruiting SLAs with hiring managers; implement a clear escalation path for delays or exceptions.
  • Conduct periodic risk and compliance reviews and recommend policy or process improvements based on findings and analytics.
