Junior QA Automation Engineer (Remote - Malta/Spain)

We power several fast-growing crypto-casino and sportsbook brands across global markets. To keep pace with our growth, we’re expanding our QA team with a Junior QA Automation Engineer. Reporting to our QA Lead, who will be responsible for designing and building automated testing procedures to verify functionalities and validate application performance. You will be working with the different development and product teams to identify and test select features of our systems.

This role is fully remote from Malta or Spain.

What will you do and more…

• Plan and develop test strategies and processes for our systems.
• Help to identify problem areas within our systems.
• Tracking, reporting and investigating bugs and issues.
• Perform regression tests when required.
• Perform performance testing regularly.

What will help you to be successful in this role?

• Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress or Selenium
• Basic scripting knowledge in any language 
• Different types of testing methods 
• Browser DevTools(understanding HTTP verbs, cookies, and can browse through the Network tab)
• GIT - basic gitflow understanding
• Good communication skills
• Willingness and curiosity to learn and explore new technologies
• Accountability, owns their tasks, follows up on issues

What’s nice to have for this role?

• A strong exploratory tester - Can identify edge cases, unexpected behaviour, or UI/UX issues
• Has worked with Cypress/JavaScript previously
• iGaming industry experience
