Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js, Pinia) - Real-time Staff Scheduling and Shift Management

opflo is a U.S. and E.U. based team working on software enabling real-time staff scheduling and shift management through integrative dashboards, automated communication, and messaging. Currently, our focus is the healthcare industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated person with a solid background in frontend development and passion for our product. As you are joining a small team, you will have an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our journey and to take the lead on new development of some exciting features we have in the works.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Developing ideas from ideation to shipping - Some big things we’re currently working on: creating new dashboards and enhancing existing dashboards, enhancing real time notifications through our mobile app, and feature requests from our clients
• Helping us improve our code base - Currently, we’re focused on completing our migration to Pinia / Pinia ORM and consolidate our business logic into composables
• Defining our engineering culture with potential for fast professional growth
• Since we are a growing company with several new clients signing on this year, the position provides potential for significant professional development into senior roles for those hirees demonstrating interest, skill, and being proactive with learning about our exciting domain.

What We Are Looking For

• A senior level frontend developer with advanced knowledge of Vue.js 3 (Composition API) and Pinia / PiniaORM. Junior developers who are extremely motivated and eager to learn with some independence will also be considered.
• Knowledge of Quasar will be helpful.
• Knowledge of mobile app (iOS, Android) development via use of Quasar (Capacitor) will be useful.
• You should know best practices for security, code development, code deployment.
• Knowledge of best practices for code version control (Git) required.
• Ability to work with Docker preferred.
• Experience in back-end web development (CFML/Lucee) and database design (PostgreSQL, SQL) useful.
• You should be a self-starter who is detail-oriented and can work independently in a remote role.
• You should have interest in shaping the technical direction of the company, including driving vital architectural choices.
