Senior Full Stack Developer (PHP, Laravel, MySQL)

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL to join our international development team.

You’ll work closely with U.S.-based clients to build, maintain, and enhance web applications — helping modernize systems, improve performance, and deliver high-quality features end to end.

This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, clean code, and collaboration in a remote-first environment.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel (PHP) and MySQL.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services.
• Design efficient, well-documented, and scalable backend structures.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to connect Laravel APIs with React, Vue, or Blade interfaces.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues quickly.
• Implement best practices in security, testing, and version control (Git).
• Participate in regular standups, code reviews, and sprint planning.

• 3–5+ years of experience as a full stack or backend developer.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel Framework (OOP, middleware, migrations, Eloquent ORM).
• Advanced MySQL skills – database design, joins, indexing, optimization.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar).
• Experience integrating APIs and building modular, maintainable codebases.
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub, and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work U.S. business hours (EST/CST).

• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or Linux environments.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Livewire, or Inertia.js.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
