About The Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at OnArrival. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our user interface components, ensuring they are fast, reliable, and user-friendly. Your work will directly impact the experience of travel companies leveraging our platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, backend, and product management, to deliver seamless and high-performance interfaces. The ideal candidate is passionate about front-end technologies, eager to innovate, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge platform that is redefining how travel technology is built and scaled.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in frontend development with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in React.js and Next.js is essential, along with a good understanding of Typescript, TailwindCSS, and modern state management tools such as Zustand or Redux. Experience with server-side rendering (SSR), dynamic routing, and working with REST or GraphQL APIs is required. A strong grasp of performance optimization techniques, including profiling, lazy loading, and responsive design, is also necessary. Bonus points are awarded for experience working on SDKs, Micro Frontends, or WebView-based mobile integrations. We value proactive, independent, and shipping-focused individuals who thrive in startup environments and are eager to contribute to rapid development cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop fast, modular, and reliable UI components using React.js and Next.js to ensure optimal user experience.
• Contribute to the development of embeddable SDKs, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), and mobile-optimized interfaces to expand platform capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams to ship seamless, high-quality features that meet business objectives.
• Optimize application performance by reducing bundle sizes, improving load times, and achieving high Lighthouse scores.
• Build and maintain internal component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with comprehensive test coverage to facilitate ongoing development and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and brainstorming sessions to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
