Role Summary

Stratx is offering a 2-month paid Data Analysis Internship for individuals based in Southampton who are eager to gain practical experience in business analytics and consulting. This remote internship offers a unique opportunity to work with live data projects, receive one-to-one mentorship, and learn how data drives business strategy and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis.
• Use Excel, SQL, and Python to extract and analyse business data.
• Support the creation of dashboards and reports for client and internal use.
• Conduct market and trend analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Document analytical processes and findings clearly.
• Collaborate with consultants to transform insights into actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Excel; basic familiarity with SQL or Python.
• Analytical thinker with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative, remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Previous project or internship experience in data analysis.
• Understanding of basic statistics or predictive modelling.
