Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Payments Data & Risk Intelligence Analyst to join our payments team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and solid experience working with transactional payment data, enabling the business to make informed, data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing payment flows, identifying user behaviour patterns, and developing a risk-scoring model to help optimize transaction success rates and minimize fraud exposure.

This role requires someone comfortable working with large datasets, SQL/Python, and BI tools, as well as someone who understands how payment systems, PSPs, and acquirers operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze transactional and behavioral payment data to identify patterns and performance trends.
• Develop data models and dashboards to monitor conversion, decline rates, and risk metrics.
• Build and refine a user risk-scoring framework based on payment behaviour.
• Collaborate with Payments, Compliance, and Product teams to improve routing efficiency and fraud detection.
• Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and ongoing optimization.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within payments, fintech, or iGaming.
• Strong command of SQL and practical knowledge of Python or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Good understanding of payment processing, PSPs, acquirers, and decline logic.
• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Excellent command of English and Russian (minimum C1 level in both).
