Job Description
A global digital and cloud service provider, are looking for an Automation Test Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive software testing processes to ensure product functionality, performance, and reliability. This includes developing and maintaining automated testing solutions that support CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines, monitoring system and application performance, and ensuring all software offerings meet quality assurance standards.
The engineer will collaborate closely with QA leads and developers to create effective test plans, identify and resolve bugs, and continuously optimize testing frameworks and processes. They will also establish automated monitoring and reporting systems, provide recommendations for best practices, and incorporate feedback to drive continuous improvement throughout the testing lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with at least two of the following technologies or equivalents:
- Observability: Elastic, Prometheus, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry
- Cloud Services: Azure, AWS, OVH
- Relational Databases: PostgreSQL (preferred)
- Web Servers and Proxies: Nginx, Squid, load balancers
- API Testing: RESTAssured, Postman collections
- Event Streaming: Kafka (preferred)
- Issue Tracking / Agile Tools: Jira
- IAM: Keycloak
- Secret Management: Hashicorp Vault
This is an initial 12 month contract working fully remote, applicants must be European National.
