A leading Artificial Intelligence Lab is seeking PhD holders, doctoral candidates, and exceptional Master’s graduates in Physics and related disciplines to join a high-impact AI research initiative advancing the frontiers of scientific understanding.

If you have expertise in one or more of the following areas, we’d love to have you on board:

Fundamental Physics:

Theoretical Mechanics, Theoretical Optics, Statistical Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Physics, Optics, and Acoustics

Modern & Applied Physics:

Electromagnetism and Photonics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Solid State Physics, Semiconductor Physics, Biophysics

Space & Cosmology:

Astrophysics, Cosmology

Engineering Disciplines:

Electrical Engineering, Control Theory & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

• Evaluate scientific accuracy, rigor, and conceptual depth of AI-generated responses across physics and engineering topics.
• Review outputs involving mathematical modeling, experimental design, and theoretical frameworks in physics.
• Identify factual errors, reasoning flaws, and conceptual gaps in AI outputs.
• Benchmark AI model performance on advanced physics and engineering problems.
• Work independently and asynchronously using proprietary evaluation tools.

• PhD (or pursuing PhD) / Master’s in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related fields.
• Strong grasp of graduate-level physics and mathematical reasoning.
• Excellent written communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Proficiency in Python for scientific analysis and model evaluation is required.

• $20–$30 per hour (based on expertise and domain depth)
