Job Description

💰 Salary range: $60,000 – $96,300 USD + equity

🌎 100% remote team! (just get the work done)

Who we are

UserBoost is a growing SaaS platform helping founders, product teams, and developers understand where users drop off and what drives activation. We make it easy to track a user’s journey to the “aha” moment and trigger smart nudges that bring them back.

We’re indie-built, product-obsessed, and focused on making onboarding analytics feel simple, beautiful, and developer-friendly.

Overview

We’re looking for a Product Manager who can help shape the direction of UserBoost — from defining what great onboarding analytics should feel like, to translating customer needs into clear product improvements. You’ll work directly with the founder, design, and engineering to bring features from zero to one and improve what’s already working.

If you love working with small, fast teams, care deeply about user experience, and enjoy balancing intuition with data — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive product strategy: Define what success looks like for our customers and translate it into clear product goals.
  • Talk to users: Interview indie founders, PMs, and developers to learn how they think about activation and retention.
  • Own the roadmap: Prioritize what we build next, from visual journey builders to advanced segmenting tools.
  • Ship & iterate: Work closely with engineering and design to deliver features quickly, learn from users, and refine.
  • Connect dots: Collaborate with marketing and customer success to tell the story behind what we build.
  • Measure impact: Use data and feedback loops to drive product decisions and improve adoption.

You’d Be a Great Fit If You

  • Have 3+ years in B2B SaaS product management, ideally with growth-stage or indie-leaning startups.
  • Understand analytics, funnels, and user behavior tracking (PostHog, Segment, Amplitude, etc.).
  • Are comfortable writing PRDs, stories, and managing sprints in tools like Jira or Linear.
  • Can think both UX-first and data-first — balancing intuition with metrics.
  • Love working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and customers.
  • Can operate autonomously and move quickly with limited structure.
  • Bonus: experience with developer-focused products, activation funnels, or onboarding tools.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote, async-friendly environment
  • Competitive salary
  • Early-stage equity
  • Flexible time off
  • Direct impact — you’ll shape what the product becomes
  • A chance to build something founders actually love using

Our Commitment

We value thoughtful builders who care about outcomes, not titles. At UserBoost, everyone’s ideas matter, and we’re building a product that reflects empathy — for users and for each other. We’re an equal-opportunity company that believes diverse perspectives make better products.
