The Role

We’re looking for an IT & Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale Tavily’s core infrastructure environments across our global offices and cloud platforms. You’ll design and maintain secure, resilient systems that enable our teams to move fast and build confidently.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in hands-on environments, loves solving complex technical challenges, and brings a strong understanding of IT systems, security, and automation.

What You’ll Do

• Own core infrastructure environments (network, security, endpoints, and SaaS) across global offices and cloud environments
• Design, implement, and maintain resilient network and security architectures (LAN/WAN/VPN, firewalls, access, zero-trust)
• Troubleshoot complex incidents with a sense of urgency and ownership
• Continuously improve system performance and reliability using automation, monitoring, and proactive maintenance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Security, and Automation teams to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure
  
  

What You Bring

• Experience with SaaS ecosystems (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with monitoring and incident management tools
• Scripting experience in Python or other automation tools (an advantage)
• Experience managing backup and disaster recovery systems (advantage)
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities
• Experience leading or participating in large-scale, cross-functional IT projects is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and incident response platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty) and the ability to develop proactive alerting and dashboards
