Job Description
5+ years of experience in total and 1+ year of experience in Java Platforms like, Java, Jboss, Apache, tomcat, IIS, Linux and JDBC drivers a plus.
Architecting & proposing designs for new projects involving middleware products (Java based)
In-depth knowledge with installation, configuration, and administration of these Java Platforms and scripting in PowerShell and Python
Implementing architecture principles
Identify opportunities to optimize current solutions or platforms and perform technical analysis and/or provide hands-on technical support, on an as needed basis, to troubleshoot problems related to poorly performing systems in production and other test environments.
Provide Consulting services to client related to setting up these platforms.
Ability to quickly assimilate into a complex environment and rapidly learn the existing and inbound technologies.
Ability to manage your workload and drives innovation.
Ability to create readable and understandable documentations.
Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues and identify root cause and recommend solutions to help resolve incidents quickly.
Ability to multi-task and complete multiple parallel assignments while working in an interrupt driven environment.
Take the initiative to act on and own issues.
Role & Responsibilities
Java, JBoss, Tomcat, JDBC, Apache, IIS and Linux infrastructure design and build experience.
Ability to tune and debug Java Virtual Machines.
Possess a thorough understanding defining and rollout these different platform components.
Possess a thorough understanding of JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, Java etc. Middleware and can configure and debug it.
Possess advanced Unix shell, PowerShell and Python scripting abilities.
Deep understanding in creating concepts and experience in zoning, Firewall,
Capable of creating and handling JAVA messaging and bridges.
Experience in setting firewalls, creating deployment scripts, testing and manage handover of platform components to clients.
Experience in setting up Java components in the Cloud environment
Experience in supporting Last- and PenTests and implementing insights.
Strong communication skillsets
Write and maintain system documentation
Job Requirements/Descriptions:
Responsible for provisioning middleware technologies for applications. Middleware technologies include but are not limited to Java, Jboss, Apache, Tomcat and JDBC.
Architecting & proposing designs for new projects involving middleware products
Installation, configuration, and administration of these Java platform components
Implementing these components based on client’s design principles.
In-depth experience setting up these Java Platforms on Cloud infrastructures.
Knows how to work and setup Loadbalancers, do deployments,create NFS Storages, and also write deploxment scripts in Ansible, Bitbucket and Artifactory, etc.
Identify opportunities to optimize current solutions and perform technical analysis and/or provide hands-on technical support, on an as needed basis, to troubleshoot problems related to poorly performing systems in production and other test environments.
