Primary title: Quality Assurance Engineer — Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance
About The Opportunity
A technology-driven InsurTech organization operating in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector, focused on digital transformation of underwriting, policy administration, claims and distribution platforms. We deliver cloud-native SaaS solutions and integrations with core insurance systems for carriers, brokers and MGAs—seeking a QA professional to secure reliability, data integrity and fast time-to-market across our P&C product suite.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, author and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, API and backend components across P&C insurance workflows (policy, claims, billing).
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and TestNG (or equivalent) to enable continuous regression testing.
- Perform API validation, contract testing and end-to-end integrations using Postman and REST API testing tools; validate JSON/XML payloads and schemas.
- Investigate, document and triage defects with clear steps-to-reproduce and collaborate with developers, product owners and business analysts to drive fixes.
- Execute data validation and backend checks using SQL queries; verify data flows between policy systems, rating engines and downstream ledgers.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into Jenkins/Git workflows and participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure fast, quality releases.

- Proven QA experience working on enterprise software; hands-on automation and API testing experience.
- Familiarity with Property & Casualty insurance concepts (policy lifecycle, claims, rating, endorsements) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in remote-first environments.
- Fully remote role with flexible hours—work from anywhere in India.
