Title: Linux/Windows Systems Administrator

Salary: $130K

FULLY ONSITE - In Los Angeles

Relocation: Can assist with relocation to Los angeles


MUST HAVES:

  • Possession of an active Secret U.S. government security clearance
  • Minimum of 6 years of a combination of Linux & Windows Administration experience in a professional and mixed technologies environment

  • Solid Mid-level skills of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, server virtualization, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of resources and practices in the security community and current on changing requirements a plus.
  • Ability to adjust quickly, adapt to changing priorities and take initiative and own the task.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team with strong organization skills.
  • Mid- level skills in supporting Windows Servers, SAN & NAS storage, ESX.



Linux System Support: Install, maintain, and upgrade Red Hat Linux (RHEL 8).

OS Management: Install and maintain Red Hat Linux and Windows Server operating systems.

Installations Support: Assist with software and hardware installations.

Performance Monitoring: Analyze and report on network and system performance.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.

Problem Resolution: Act as an escalation point for complex technical problems.

Service Requests: Handle system and network service requests to ensure customer satisfaction.

Technology Implementation: Implement new technology initiatives.

Active Directory Management: Configure and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and replication.

Collaboration: Work with IT groups to evaluate and implement secure infrastructure.

ITIL Practices: Follow ITIL best practices and enhance documentation.

Security Compliance: Implement security controls and prepare for audits.

Additional Duties: Undertake other assigned projects and tasks.
