Business Intelligence Analyst:

Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making through effective reporting, analytics, and project execution. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver insights that improve operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.

This role is fully remote working 7AM-4PM Eastern Time Zone hours.

Business Intelligence Analyst Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned analytics and reporting projects, occasionally serving as a project lead or subject matter expert.
• Build and maintain internal relationships to ensure alignment and clarity on business data needs.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends and inform business decisions.
• Develop and enhance dashboards and reports to improve visibility into key performance metrics.
• Apply professional judgment to resolve moderately complex issues and determine appropriate actions within established procedures.
• Collaborate with senior BI analysts to prioritize and coordinate workloads.
• Document processes, methodologies, and business logic to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support Agile project frameworks.

Business Intelligence Analyst Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced spreadsheet modeling.
• Working knowledge of SQL, SAS, or other data querying and transformation tools.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or DAX Studio.
• Basic understanding of programming and statistical languages (R or Python) and familiarity with Azure or other cloud data environments.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and reporting automation.
• Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and provide actionable insights.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
