Our client is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who thrives on building reliable, scalable, and secure systems that empower world-class development teams to move faster.

This is your chance to take ownership of platform architecture, drive cloud infrastructure decisions, and mentor engineers - all while working with cutting-edge technologies and solving real scale challenges.

What you’ll be doing

• Architect scalable, high-availability platform infrastructure across GCP
• Design distributed systems capable of handling complex workloads
• Own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, automated deployments
• Improve developer productivity through tooling, testing, and automation
• Champion observability, monitoring, and incident response best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor mid-level engineers

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE (2+ in senior or lead roles)
• Strong background in systems design and distributed architectures
• Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Skilled with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and modern CI/CD tools
• Solid programming experience in Go, Python, or Java
• Confident communicator and mentor with a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset

Really Nice to have

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or service mesh
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and data workflows
• Experience leading infrastructure initiatives or mentoring teams
