SEO Specialist

Dentist Finder is a rapidly growing platform helping patients across Canada find their ideal dentist based on their needs and preferences. We’re building the future of how patients discover and book dental care online, and we’re looking for an SEO Specialist to lead our organic growth efforts.

In this role, you’ll help Dentist Finder rank at the top of Google when patients search for a new dentist — overseeing all aspects of SEO.

We’re seeking a hands-on SEO Specialist who can build, manage, and scale Dentist Finder’s organic growth engine. This role involves overseeing our SEO strategy end-to-end — from keyword research and technical optimization to writing SEO content and collaborating with our developer on scalable SEO pages. You’ll also coordinate with our marketing and design teams to ensure our website ranks highly and converts traffic into booked appointments.

Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 CAD + 0.3% equity

Hours: Full-time

Location: Fully remote within Canada

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on traffic growth and lead generation
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities
• Collaborate with our SEO developer to build and optimize scalable SEO pages
• Audit and optimize site structure, metadata, and internal linking
• Create and optimize SEO-focused content
• Build high-quality backlinks to strengthen domain authority
• Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversions using analytics tools
• Report on SEO performance and continuously identify growth opportunities

• 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (preferably in the dental industry, SaaS, or marketplaces)
• Strong technical SEO knowledge and familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console, Google Analytics
• Proven ability to manage on-page, off-page, and technical SEO tasks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience collaborating with developers and UX teams

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience/knowledge in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to increase mentions in AI-powered search experiences such as LLMs (ex: ChatGPT) or Google’s AI Overviews.
