• Location: Fully Remote (covering US East Coast hours)

• Compensation: $450k TC

Durlston Partners is working with an elite-level HFT firm that is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join their world-class team. This is a critical hire where you will take ownership of designing cutting-edge infrastructure, improving system reliability, and scaling platforms that are central to the firm’s trading success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance infrastructure.
• Improve system reliability, availability, and observability across core trading platforms.
• Develop automation solutions to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Proven experience as a Linux Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role in high-performance environments (HFTs, quant funds, crypto firms, etc.).
• Strong background with Linux
• Strong AWS experience
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Grafana, and related monitoring/automation tools.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and low-latency environments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, mission-critical setting.
