Junior Flutter Developer (Remote):

We are looking for a Junior Flutter Developer to join our growing team and help build high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications.

This is a full-time, fully remote position with flexible working hours (as long as deadlines are met), and we have 2 openings.

Daily team sync-up meetings are required, so you should be comfortable collaborating and communicating in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain Applications: Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, following best practices in coding and UI/UX design.
• Feature Implementation: Implement app features and functionalities, including integration of RESTful APIs and real-time updates (using WebSockets when applicable).
• Integrations: Integrate third-party services and SDKs such as Google Maps/Mapbox, Stripe, push notifications, and cloud-based functions.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and reliability.
• Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve software bugs and performance issues, ensuring apps are optimized for responsiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, QA testers, and project managers to translate requirements into functional features. Coordinate with backend teams or cloud services for API integration.
• Project Ownership: Take full ownership of assigned tasks or modules from inception to completion.
• Deployment: Prepare and deploy apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, manage listings, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Flutter/Dart updates and suggest improvements in app architecture or workflow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Flutter & Dart Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience (2 years preferred).
• State Management: Familiarity with GetX, BLoC, or Provider, and solid understanding of widget and app lifecycles.
• API Integration: Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, error handling, and offline storage.
• Cloud Services: Experience using Firebase, AWS, or Supabase — including Cloud Functions and push notifications.
• Authentication & Security: Implementing user auth flows (Firebase Auth, OAuth, JWT) and secure data storage.
• Third-Party SDKs: Experience with libraries like Google Maps, Mapbox, and Stripe.
• Native Knowledge: Basic understanding of Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) for plugin configurations.
• App Deployment: Knowledge of preparing and signing release builds (APKs/IPAs) and managing Play Console and App Store Connect.
• OOP Principles: Strong grasp of OOP and SOLID principles.
• SDLC & Agile: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall workflows.
• Version Control: Experience with Git (branching, merging, PRs).
• Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
• Accountability: High sense of ownership and decision-making ability.
• Documentation: Ability to maintain clear, updated technical documentation.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of professional Flutter experience.
• Experience with WebSockets or real-time communication.
• Basic JavaScript/TypeScript or Node.js knowledge.
• Familiarity with unit tests and integration testing in Flutter.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
