Iowa Judicial Branch

The Iowa Judicial Branch is one of three branches of Government that interprets and applies Iowa laws. We also ensure equal justice for all and provide dispute resolution for Iowa. The judicial branch consists of the supreme court, court of appeals, and 8 district courts and employs nearly 1,800 judicial officers and employees.
