We are now taking expressions of interest from US-based candidates for the position of Principal Consultant - Security
Responsibilities
- Act as a leader for technical client engagements. Drive high level design, consultation, maturity assessments and delivery for Enterprise Security technology offerings.
- Design, advise and implement state-of-the-art technical patterns on Azure that address clients’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security, operations, and performance. Direct the consultation between LAB3 and clients to understand strategic business requirements and translate those into technical outcomes relating to effective cloud solutions.
- Identify and nurture growth opportunities within existing clients
- Communicate and present discoveries to Senior Management and Executive stakeholders (including C-Suite & Directors) as required. Influence relationships to ensure appropriate stakeholders are effectively engaged in the formulation of the ‘secure-by-design’ architecture.
- Lead client conversations around architecture design and strategy. Provide deep reviews and deliverables whilst engaging as a SME creating clear line of sight, accountability and guidance to support security decisions
- Partner with Project Leaders to provide technical input into scheduling, estimating activities and project delivery as required
- Support our Pre-sales teams in driving documentation, written requirements, and transformative direction. Interact with technical delivery, project, and sales teams.
- Help setup proof-of-concept prototypes that assess the feasibility of solutions and demonstrate to our clients how technology can be leveraged.
- Identify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights, conclusions, cost estimations, workshops, presentations, and report to clients.
- Run workshops and cloud adoption activities with our customers as necessary.
- Recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices.
- Play a critical role in the hiring and interview process for new LAB3sters.
- Provide technical leadership and be a role model to engineers by providing onboarding support, influencing development plans, mentoring, educating, and encouraging best practice regarding designs and delivery execution processes.
- Strictly adhere to all LAB3’s Information Security Management System policies and procedures.
- Azure Cloud Security.
- DevSecOps – Methodologies, processes & pipelines.
- IaC – Terraform, PowerShell.
- Azure Defender for Cloud – Sentinel (as code), MDCA, MS Defender.
- Azure Compute (FaaS, Logic Apps).
- Kusto Query Language (KQL).
- Gateway Security.
- Network Security Groups.
- Azure Application Gateway.
- Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)
- Cybersecurity Operations/Compliance & Governance
- Privileged Access & Vulnerability Management.
- User Defined Routes/Azure Firewall.
- Azure Logging/OMS.
- Work in Agile and ITIL projects.
