The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud & Systems Administrator to own and manage our core Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure. You will be the go-to expert for everything from cloud security and identity management to ensure our team has the tools and support they need to succeed.

What You'll Do:

Own Our Cloud Security & Azure Environment (40%)

·        Configure, monitor, and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud to protect our cloud resources.

·        Implement and maintain security policies, threat detection, and lead incident response.

·        Manage and optimize our Azure cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.

·        Implement and oversee security tools like IDS/IPS and network security groups.

Master Identity & Device Management (40%)

·        Administer our entire identity landscape with Azure AD (Entra ID), including user provisioning, SSO, and Conditional Access policies.

·        Manage our corporate devices (Windows, macOS) using Microsoft Intune—from enrollment and policy enforcement to software deployment and automated patching.

Drive IT Excellence & Support (20%)

·        Improve our IT processes, including ticket management and documentation.

·        Assist teammates with technical issues, providing friendly and efficient Tier 2/3 support.

·        Proactively recommend and implement improvements to our overall IT infrastructure.

·        Serve as the escalation point for helpdesk issues, resolving complex problems related to system access, Intune policies, and software.

What We're Looking For:

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience (2 years minimum) managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments (Microsoft certificates).
• Hands-on expertise with Azure AD (Entra ID), Conditional Access, and Intune.
• Practical knowledge of cloud security concepts and tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud).
• Strong experience with Windows OS, endpoint management, and patch management.
• A solid understanding of core networking principles (DNS, DHCP, VPN).

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation.
• Knowledge of SOC processes or security incident handling.
• Experience in a startup or small company where you wore multiple hats.
