About the Role

Seeking a Project Manager to join a global leader in industrial technology, based in Abu Dhabi, within their Motion Business Area - Service Division. The role will focus on leading and executing medium-sized industrial projects across the region, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with global standards and contractual obligations. This position requires a technically adept project leader with experience in drives and motors, strong financial oversight capabilities, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams. This is an on-site role with high visibility and direct impact on client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of medium-scale industrial projects in alignment with organizational policies and safety protocols.
• Develop, implement, and oversee project plans including scope, budget, risk, quality, and timeline control.
• Drive financial performance through close monitoring of costs, cash flow, and alignment with planned targets.
• Coordinate with business controlling functions for robust financial planning and risk mitigation strategies.
• Enforce adherence to global safety, HSE, quality, and cyber-security standards throughout project phases.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate contract management, including change orders and claims in accordance with internal guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while leveraging opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Deliver periodic project reports, including financials and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
• Ensure formal project close-out processes are completed, including client acceptance and documentation.

The Right Person Will Have:

• 5-6 years of project management experience within the industrial, automation, or electrical sectors.
• A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of drives, motors, and automation technologies.
• Proficiency in SAP and order management systems.
• Demonstrated experience in contract and financial management, including claims and commercial terms.
• A PMP certification or active pursuit of one is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Deep understanding of safety and quality compliance within industrial environments.
