Role Overview:

Mercor is seeking experienced Computer and Information Systems Managers to support a leading AI lab in advancing research and infrastructure for next-generation machine learning systems. This role involves designing and evaluating realistic IT management scenarios to enhance AI performance. The ideal candidate will leverage their professional experience in IT strategy, system architecture, and team leadership to create, review, and validate operational, security, and project management workflows in a fully remote and flexible capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tasks and scenarios reflecting real-world computer and information systems management challenges based on professional experience.
• Create realistic situations involving IT strategy, system architecture, project management, and team leadership.
• Design scenarios for technology implementation, security oversight, budget management, and vendor coordination.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to IT management queries for accuracy and alignment with industry standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on information systems management scenarios to improve AI training and outcomes.

Ideal Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a computer and information systems manager in professional, scientific, or technical services.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and prior management responsibilities.
• Proficient with computers and navigating various software systems.
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling.
• Successful completion of video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.
• Average of 14 years of professional experience preferred.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Fully remote and asynchronous work with flexible scheduling.
• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week, scalable up to 40 hours.
