Blockchain Developer

Location: Zurich, Switzerland (Hybrid/Remote)

Reports to: Lead Blockchain Engineer / CTO

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Blockchain Developer to design, develop, and implement blockchain-based solutions for our Swiss and international clients.

In this role, you will work on decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and distributed ledger technologies, contributing to innovative blockchain solutions that solve real-world problems.

• Design, develop, and deploy blockchain-based applications and smart contracts.
• Work with distributed ledger technologies such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana, or Polkadot.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to integrate blockchain solutions.
• Maintain and improve blockchain infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation for blockchain projects.
• Stay updated with emerging blockchain technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks in smart contracts and blockchain protocols.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to architectural and technical decisions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Solidity, Rust, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with smart contract development and testing frameworks (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat).
• Knowledge of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and decentralized storage.
• Familiarity with blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana, Polkadot, etc.).
• Understanding of security best practices in blockchain and smart contracts.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
