About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flutter Developer to lead the development of our sports analytics platform. This role requires an individual with a passion for building visually compelling, high-performance mobile applications that handle complex data visualizations, camera integrations, and real-time video processing. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for translating sophisticated UI/UX designs into robust, maintainable code while ensuring optimal app performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers in a remote, distributed startup environment. Your expertise will help shape the architecture and technical direction of our mobile applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in Flutter development, with a proven track record of delivering production-quality iOS applications.
• Strong skills in converting detailed UI designs into Flutter code, with meticulous attention to detail and pixel-perfect implementation.
• Extensive experience working with camera and video functionalities within mobile apps, including video overlays and real-time annotations.
• Proficiency with data visualization libraries such as fl_chart or custom painting techniques to create interactive and dynamic visualizations.
• Hands-on experience with video processing, overlays, compression, and media optimization techniques.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles, particularly Clean Architecture, BLoC pattern, and dependency injection for scalable and maintainable codebases.
• Experience working with backend-as-a-service platforms like Supabase or similar solutions for seamless backend integration.
  
  

Specialized Skills

• Expertise in customizing video players and implementing advanced media controls for enhanced user interaction.
• Knowledge of camera APIs, media streaming, and optimization strategies to ensure smooth performance on mobile devices.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions, particularly AWS S3, for efficient media management.
• Understanding of real-time data streaming technologies such as WebSocket for live data updates and interactions.
• Familiarity with 3D graphics, mathematical visualizations, or augmented reality integrations (preferred).

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Flutter mobile applications, initially focusing on iOS platforms.
• Create rich, interactive data visualizations and UI components that effectively communicate complex analytics.
• Integrate device sensors such as gyroscope and accelerometer to enhance app functionalities.
• Develop and experiment with augmented reality features using ARKit for iOS and future ARCore support for Android.
• Take ownership of the full app lifecycle, including architecture design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for mobile UX, app performance, and code quality standards.
• Proactively troubleshoot issues, optimize app performance, and implement new features to enhance user engagement.
• Participate in regular standups, planning sessions, and technical discussions with the founding team to align on project goals and progress.
