GoLang Developer II - AWS - Microservices - Mongo/ETL - Git - CI/CD - Unit Testing - Kubernetes/Docker 100% Remote

We have a 12+ month contract to hire for a hands-on application developer with at least 4 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise software solutions in Java and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). They bring strong expertise in API development, SQL/database querying, and end-to-end software development lifecycles, including testing and deployment. Experience with microservices architecture, NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB), and event-driven systems like Kafka is highly desirable. The candidate thrives in a collaborative Agile (SAFe) team, works independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrates adaptability, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills. 100% Remote.

Shift: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm – working within core hours but must ensure no mater what time zone they reside they are able to attend morning meetings, etc. Most of team is 8:30 – 5:30 pm CST, etc. There is flexibility

MUST HAVES:

• 3-4+ years of experience
• GoLang development
• API Development
• Unit Testing experience
• Mongo or NoSQL experience
• Microservices experience
• Git and CI/CD experience
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Knowledge experience with databases querying/SQL knowledge
• Experience with the entire development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, etc. – some experience with devOps/ YKWS)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• This person should be able to work independently while also knowing the team is there for support
• Ability to be a self-starter – come in and hit the ground running
• Experience in working as part of an Agile team - Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
