Title: TypeScript Developer
Location: Remote (Mexico)
Duration: 6 months subject to extension
Role Overview
We are seeking a mid-to-senior level developer with strong TypeScript experience to support the client's Education Platform Metrics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a blend of front-end, back-end, and data visualization expertise, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable front-end and back-end features in TypeScript (Node.js, React, or similar frameworks).
Collaborate with product and analytics teams to design and implement data pipelines and dashboards that support educational metrics and provide actionable insights.
Integrate diverse data sources and ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance of data models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data instrumentation and KPIs.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups within an agile environment.
Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Next.js, or Node.js preferred.
Experience in data management, ETL, or data visualization (e.g., D3.js, Grafana, Tableau, or similar tools).
Familiarity with Python for automation or light data processing is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and a comfort level collaborating with distributed teams across different time zones.
