Role Overview:
This unpaid internship is a unique opportunity for aspiring SEO specialists to gain practical experience in optimizing an e-commerce platform for search engines. As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with our team to improve website rankings, conduct keyword research, and implement SEO best practices that drive measurable results. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, contributing to the success of our digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-performing target keywords for various web pages and blog posts.Optimize website content, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and image alt text, for SEO.Assist in on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including link building and content optimization.Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz.Collaborate with the content team to ensure that all written materials are optimized for search engines.Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates to ensure our strategies are current.Assist in producing SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of SEO principles, including on-page and off-page optimization.Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members effectively.Passionate about digital marketing and eager to learn more about SEO strategies.
