Role Overview
You will work closely with product teams to understand their specific product opportunities, and where these can translate them into practical AI/ML solutions that enhance the user experience. Leveraging the tools and resources provided by our ML Platform, you'll focus on integrating ML and AI to build intelligent features within our products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to see your work directly influence the user experience and shape the future of our product landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Application Engineers to define technical requirements and success metrics for ML and AI-powered features.
- Translate product concepts into feasible ML and AI solutions, leveraging established approaches and pre-trained models provided by the ML Platform.
- Design, develop, and test models within product features, ensuring high accuracy, performance, and explainability.
- Implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track model performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Integrate models into production environments, working seamlessly with application developers and DevOps teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in relevant domains and communicate their potential impact to teams.
- Document technical solutions and participate in knowledge sharing within the organization.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in applying machine learning to solve real-world product opportunities
- Strong understanding of core ML concepts, algorithms, and model development methodologies.
- Experience with popular ML libraries and frameworks and familiar working with foundational AI models
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Passion for user experience and a strong desire to build products that make a positive impact and enable making tax simple

- Understanding of MLOps principles and best practices.
