About the Role
The Tech Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle to ensure the organization attracts, evaluates, and secures top talent across various functions. This mid-level professional role focuses on strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, and process optimization to meet evolving staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, resume screening, conducting initial interviews, coordinating assessments, and facilitating final selection processes.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand workforce requirements, define role specifications, and create targeted recruitment plans.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate documentation of candidate progress and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews, assessing both technical skills and cultural fit to ensure alignment with organizational values.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal stakeholders, providing timely feedback and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, proactively engaging passive candidates and building long-term relationships.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and generate regular reports to evaluate sourcing effectiveness, time-to-fill, and quality-of-hire, recommending process improvements as needed.
- Support employer branding initiatives by representing the organization at career fairs, industry events, and through digital channels.
- Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to equal employment opportunity (EEO) and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) standards.
Required Experience & Skills
- Must have five plus years working experience in Tech recruitment Experience with Hardware and Software Roles
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring across multiple job functions and levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and collaborate effectively with hiring managers.
- In-depth knowledge of modern sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social media recruiting, and talent mapping.
- Experience conducting structured interviews and utilizing behavioral and competency-based assessment methods.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting recruitment data and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with employment laws, EEO, and best practices in diversity hiring.
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential candidate and organizational information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is typically required.
- Professional certification in talent acquisition or human resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS) is advantageous.
- 5-10 years of experience in a dedicated recruitment or talent acquisition role, preferably within a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Ongoing professional development in recruitment trends, technology, and employment law is highly valued.
