Kotlin language itself. Kotlin is one of the fastest-growing programming languages - Targeting JVM, Android, iOS, and Web development.
However, just having an amazing standard library, frameworks, and a language isn’t enough for it to be popular.
- How would you market Kotlin?
- How could you grow and flourish the community so that it is healthy and ecosystem-rich?
- How would you make every enterprise lead and indie developer aware that they can use Kotlin with Java or together with Swift?
We are curious about these questions, as we want to bring Kotlin everywhere!
As the

You will be responsible for driving awareness, adoption, and growth of the Kotlin Ecosystem.
In This Role, You Will
- Define the brand identity and positioning of the Kotlin ecosystem among programming ecosystems.
- Define the core value proposition and storytelling about Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Ktor, Amper, Compose Multiplatform, and other technologies in the Kotlin Ecosystem
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, user needs, and the competitive landscape, and identify opportunities for Kotlin’s growth.
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy to drive awareness, growth, and market penetration for Kotlin and related products.
- Utilize data-driven insights to define marketing strategy and optimize campaigns.
- Manage planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, content marketing, influencer marketing, events, and PR.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including case studies, blog posts, videos, and presentations.
- Lead marketing launch initiatives, coordinating with product management, technical writing, developer advocacy, and other cross-functional teams.
- Grow, lead, and inspire the marketing team.
- Drinking beer or team with developers on conferences, write funny comments on social media, and pop up in YouTube shorts in your friends’ feeds. But only if you want to!
