Overview Analytics Engineer at Aios Medical — Remote, $******k/year inc equity. Aios Medical is building an AI-powered clinical operating system and aims to accelerate mass-market adoption of consumer biotech products. The initial focus is excess bodyweight, with a goal to make GLP-1 medications more accessible to help solve obesity worldwide. ClinicOS enables direct-to-patient healthcare for consumer brands and internal brands alike. Responsibilities Build Stable ETL: own the flow of data from 20 sources into Redshift, reduce manual checks, fix failure points, and ensure day-to-day reliability. Engineering Focus: work on data engineering fundamentals including warehouse architecture, dbt transformations, and pipeline tooling to keep data flowing reliably. Analytics: support Growth (CAC, CPL, funnel metrics) and Product/Ops (time to medication, delivery times); stitch data so metrics are clean and trusted. Solo Operator: act as a senior contributor who defines what matters and builds the backend logic to track it. Strategic Partner: become a key data decision-maker across the organization, balancing reliability, speed, and clarity in data use. Qualifications Must have 5 years of data experience with at least 3 years in data engineering; owned pipelines, warehouses, and reporting in fast-moving environments. Experience building and maintaining data pipelines that synchronize from multiple sources into a central warehouse (e.g., Redshift) with robust syncing logic and error handling. Strong SQL skills: ability to write and debug complex queries, optimize performance, handle large datasets, and build reusable data models. Understanding of business metrics: ability to translate requests (e.g., CAC, time to medication) into data points and end-to-end tracking. Ownership and autonomy: proven track record as a solo operator who can define what matters and move quickly without relying on others. Team-building mindset: experience managing or forming a data team as the function scales. Nice to have Experience with growth metrics and healthcare/operational metrics (e.g., CAC, funnel stages, fulfillment speed). Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Metabase) and customer data platforms (e.g., Rudderstack). Ability to debug difficult data issues and reverse engineer broken reports.
