Position Summary
The Digital Product Owner will lead end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives across Salesforce, web, and mobile platforms for a Fortune 500 automotive finance and insurance provider. This role demands exceptional communication skills, hands-on involvement in UAT and backlog management, and the ability to collaborate across business, UX, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and mobile app environments.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with business requirements.
- Manage UAT: design test scripts, execute test cases, triage defects, and track results.
- Collaborate with CX, business, and IT teams to deliver and test new features.
- Support field operations, training, and change management across customer and dealer channels.
- Lead initiatives and develop proposals, business cases, and budget approvals for leadership.
- Oversee SLAs, deployments, platform releases, vendor relationships, and incident management.
- Report progress, dependencies, and key performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3β5 years of product management or product owner experience with digital customer-facing products.
- 3β5 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams (business/IT, onshore/offshore).
- Hands-on Salesforce experience is required (Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud).
- Strong experience with UAT planning and execution (must have at least 8 years of experience with UAT).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and sprint planning.
Desired Skills
- Agile certification (Product Owner or Scrum Master β SAFe preferred).
- Salesforce certification or ability to achieve Salesforce Admin certification within one year.
- Payments or financial services industry experience.
- Mobile app product experience (preferred).
- 1β2 years of roadmap and business planning experience.
- Familiarity with procurement processes (RFI/RFP).
- 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience (preferred).
- Stable work history with large enterprise organizations.
