Graphic Designer
12+ weeks, part-time hours
Fully remote
Rate: $30-35/hr.
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. This role involves developing compelling visual content for both in-store and digital platforms, adapting existing assets for Canadian and French markets, and contributing to paid media and social campaigns. If you're passionate about design, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for video editing, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts based on briefs from various departments
- Adapt existing assets (still and video) for Canadian and/or French audiences
- Create content for paid media and social platforms
- Edit video content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Provide translation services and support localization efforts
- Work in Figma to collaborate and execute design projects
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
- Explore growth opportunities across other brands within the organization
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role
- Figma experience is a requiremen for this role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely
- Experience with bilingual (English/French) capabilities are considered assets
