Position Summary
The Technical Lead – Digital Applications Delivery will serve as a hands-on leader supporting enterprise customer-facing digital platforms. This role involves collaborating closely with Product Owners, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of technology projects using Agile methodologies. The Technical Lead will coordinate budgets, timelines, sprint goals, and QA efforts, while providing both functional and technical direction to development teams.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on driving Agile project execution, team organization, and quality delivery across a complex digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Project Managers to develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
- Oversee the design, testing, and deployment of technical solutions.
- Intervene and re-prioritize when development is behind schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain and organize development backlogs, ensuring they remain prioritized and clearly scoped.
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable sprint tasks and technical deliverables.
- Lead sprint planning, define sprint goals, and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
- Own QA and delivery hygiene — verify features before launch, coordinate testing, log bugs, and validate fixes.
- Track release progress, monitor blockers, and resolve technical impediments.
- Provide lightweight technical contributions as needed to support team deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience managing complex technical projects and development teams.
- Proven experience leading Agile teams as a Technical Lead, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint management, and backlog prioritization.
- Exceptional knowledge of SaaS/PaaS architectures, software development lifecycles, and deployment processes.
- Hands-on familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Strong technical understanding across digital platforms, APIs, and cloud systems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills — able to communicate complex topics clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or SAFe).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Background supporting consumer-facing digital platforms or applications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, mobile apps, or web platforms in enterprise settings.
- Experience working with external technology vendors and partners.
- Proven record of maintaining strategic alliances with technology providers.
- 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
- Stable work history with large enterprise organizations.
