Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will drive the full embedded software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test software solutions for aerospace and defense applications. Your role will also involve optimizing software for performance, reliability, and maintainability using cutting-edge tools and methodologies. You will provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning. Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance offerings and maintain a competitive edge is also expected.
Responsibilities
- Drive the full embedded software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test software solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Optimize software for performance, reliability, and maintainability using cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in C, C++, and other programming languages for systems programming.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with real-time Linux and RTOS.
- At least 2 years of working experience with hardware-software integration, particularly with ARM platforms.
- Ability to obtain secret clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
- Current active clearance is preferred.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Familiarity with Directed Energy and Space Domain Awareness technologies.

This position requires working on-site 5 days a week from 8am to 4pm in a casual dress code environment (jeans and polo). This is a Permanent position based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Relocation is available for the selected candidate.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
