Your Role
- Produce coordinated shop drawings with input from BIM/CAD teams and site requirements.
- Conduct drawing take-offs, dimension checks, and drawing compliance validation.
- Assist in preparing technical submittals and compiling vendor data.
- Raise RFIs and track responses, updating drawing sets accordingly.
- Collaborate with other engineers to resolve design or construction clashes.
- Update as-built drawings post construction and assist in project close-out documentation.
- Ensure drawings are aligned with latest design revisions, site redlines, and consultant approvals.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by your manager, commensurate with the role and aligned with the needs of the business.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (required).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for drawing production and markup.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and version control.
- Good communication with engineers, foremen, and site staff.
Desirable
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and clash detection tools (Navisworks, BIM 360).
- Exposure to LEED, Estidama, or local regulatory submission formats.
- Ability to use drawing management systems (Aconex, Procore, etc.).
